The Orb Zeppo is the only bike most people will ever need – it’s at home cruising through the mean streets, skipping past on country roads, nipping down your favourite towpath, or even darting along a gravel track. The 6061 aluminium frame provides a high-quality lightweight chassis, paired with disc brakes and 32mm tyres as standard.
The Gates Carbon Belt Drivetrain means less time spent on maintenance and more time enjoying your new ride. You won’t have to worry about getting your work trousers greasy, or marking your pegs with the ubiquitous oily chainring – all you need to keep the belt drive running smooth as Tom Jones is a squirt of water every once in a while.
With most bike spares so hard to come by at the moment, the Gates belt drive will be your best friend. Average lifespans are around 30,000km, so you won’t have to worry about changing it for many years (if ever!).
This is really the business end of a bike, and you can be sure we’ve invested in quality.
Shifting is provided by a Shimano Nexus 7 hub, reliable, robust, and low maintenance.
Meanwhile, front and rear Shimano MT-200 hydraulic disc brakes will have you stopping on a sixpence in all weathers.
If you’re London-based, and want to have your Zeppo delivered fully built up, we’ve teamed up with bike workshop Fettle. They will build your Zeppo and deliver it anywhere in Zones 1-3. Just drop us a message for details!
If you want to build it up yourself, that’s fine too. Your Zeppo will arrive 85% built up, needing pedals, handlebars, front wheel, and seatpost installed. If you know way around bikes you’ll be done in 15 minutes.

Q. Is it ready to ride when delivered?
A. Almost. As the Zeppo has to fit in a box for delivery, the front wheel, handlebars, and pedals need mounting. This is a simple job, and we’ll be send an instruction manual.
Q. Is the Zeppo for men or women?
A. Both! All bodies are different, and whether your a man or a woman doesn’t really change the bike you should ride.
Q. Can I fit a bottle cage/drink holder?
A. Yes, the frame has mounts for a bottle cage.
Q. Can I fit a rack?
A. Yes! There are bosses and mounts for a rack.
Q. What are the widest tyres I can fit?
A. There is a minimum clearance of 51mm, so we recommend a 45mm tyre maximum.
Q. What tyre size/inner tubes does the Zeppo use?
A. The tyre size is 700c, with 32mm Schrader valve tubes.
Q. Are pedals included?
A. Unlike most new bikes, we’re including a set of high quality metal pedals!
Q. There’s something I want to ask that’s not on the list…
A. Press the ‘messenger’ button in the bottom right of your screen, or email [email protected]
The best thing for all bikes is to keep them somewhere warm and dry. Clean your bike regularly, and keep an eye on bolts and components to make sure they are tight and working correctly.
The Zeppo is designed to be low maintenance – the belt drive does not require oiling, but if it begins to squeak, clean with water. Wax is also available to buy for belt drives. The internal gears are designed to need minimal intervention, but like everything else on your bike will last longer if kept maintained. If you think there may be something that needs adjustment, take your bike to your local bike shop.
Orb Warranty
We are not messing about with our Orb warranty. The frame and fork are guaranteed for 3 years, and Shimano components are guaranteed for 2 years. If it’s broken, and it’s our fault, we’ll fix it, or replace it. It’s as simple as that, and you won’t have any trouble holding us to it. Just get in touch on [email protected] and we’ll take care of it.
Ordered the V.7 only to be told that they had none in stock. Excellent communication with the company and they upgraded me to the V.8. The bike is top quality. Couldn’t be happier. 100% recommend!!
loving my new bike, had a wee issue with the gears slipping which turned out to be normal on a new bike due to initial cable stretch and the guys got back to me straight away and totally sorted it. The bike is lovely and wonderful to ride and a joy to use on the commutes to work that I use it for. Thoroughly recommend!!!!
Really easy – it needs very little maintenance and I can commute in my work clothes. My route to work includes a pretty steep hill – most cyclists walk it but with the zeppo’s gears I can get up no sweat, which is useful as I am in my work clothes. The breaks are also really useful on the way down.
I love the Zeppo. I bought it to replace my cheap bike that needed constant maintenance and was definitely an effort to cycle to work with. The Zeppo is such a smooth ride and I love that I’ll no longer have to deal with rusty/oily chains or worry about not being able to stop at traffic lights! My colleagues have all commented on how sleek it looks. It’s also the lightest bike I have ever owned (I can lift it with one arm!) which makes it very speedy! I’m very excited to for my easy life of cycling now 🙂
This is such a great bike, I love it. I bought a Zeppo to replace my old road bike as I was looking for something to ride comfortably around London with the option for longer rides in the countryside too. It’s light, high quality and looks lovely – I have the purple. Bike maintenance is also far less daunting given there is no chain to oil (or break). Overall I’m very pleased with this wonderful, reliable bike.
